Cobra Spotlight- Brittney Pink, Women's Volleyball

The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them. This week we take a look at Brittney Pink, a member of the women's volleyball team.

Major: Chemistry

Why did you choose Coker? I wanted to play volleyball, and I really liked the campus and class sizes.

What is your best memory at Coker (athletic related)? Playing together in our tournament in Georgia; I had a lot of fun with the team.

What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)? Meeting new people here at Coker!

Which athletic team would you play on at Coker other than your own? I would do track next year, if I had to play a sport other than volleyball. I would do track, because I lettered in track all four years in high school.

Favorite professor: Dr. Boone

Plans after graduation: Become a chemist for a company

Favorite type of music: I like all different kinds

Most prized possession: My tiny glass guardian angel my grandma gave me.

What is something people may not know about you? I can be really shy when I first meet someone, but once I get to know them I’m fine.

Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it? Pink, because it’s my last name.
