Diabetes doesn't stop Coker soccer student-athlete

When the calendar flips to July, Kathryn Friedmann knows there no place she’d rather be than in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee.

The town, located 20 minutes from Chattanooga in the Smoky Mountains, is the site of the Tennessee Camp for Diabetic Children. This is where Friedmann, who just completed her senior season on the Coker soccer team, learned that she wasn’t alone in dealing with a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes.

Cobras Make it 2-0 with 86-77 Win over Morris

Hartsville, S.C. – The Coker Cobras had five players score in double figures to lead them to their first 2-0 start in recent years, as they defeated Morris College by a score of 86-77 in men’s collegiate basketball on Tuesday night. The Cobra win improves Coker to 2-0 on the year, while Morris falls to 1-2 overall.

Lady Cobras Down Hornets for First Win of the Season

Hartsville, S.C. – With a 41 point second half come back, the Coker Lady Cobras brought home their first win of the season on Tuesday night, defeating Morris College, 76-63. The win improves Coker to 1-1 on the year, while Morris evens their record at 3-3.
