Cobra Club Golf Outing set for Oct. 5

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College Athletics Department and Cobra Club will host the Cobra Club Golf Outing at Homecoming for the second consecutive year on Friday, Oct. 5 at the Hartsville Country Club.

Registration, which includes lunch, begins at 11:30 a.m. Play begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start.

The event, which is a four-man, 18-hole captain’s choice tournament, includes a raffle giveaway, closest to the pin and longest drive contests, as well as the now-famous “Beat the Coker Coaches Contest,” featuring the Schmotzer brothers, Dan and Dave.

Tickets are $75 for single golfers and $250 per foursome. They include and cart and greens fees, Nike polo shirt, lunch, and entry to the longest drive and closest to the pin contests. Sponsorships are available and include golf cart ($25) and hole sponsors ($100).

Registration must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1. Registrations after this date are subject to availability of space.
