Taste of Coker Slated for Oct. 8
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College Athletics Department and Cobra Club will host the 7th Annual Taste of Coker from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8 at the soccer fields.
“The Taste of Coker is a signature event not only for the athletics department, but the entire community,” said vice president of athletics and facilities Lynn Griffin. “We feel this is a great way to continue to strengthen relationships with our campus, fans and local residents.”
Tickets for this year’s event are $15 for single, $30 for couple or $40 for families. Kids under 10 are free with a paying adult.
During last year’s event, 35 cooks served over 600 people, showcasing a wide array of foods from chicken wings to desserts to your multiple types of “bog.”
In addition to the food, the Taste of Coker also offers a wide variety of activities. Participants will enjoy live music, athletic demonstrations from various Coker athletic programs, and have an opportunity to meet coaches, players and staff throughout the evening.
