Women’s Basketball

• This week’s games:

  • Saturday at 12:15 p.m. (A)- Limestone @ Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.

• Last week’s games:
  • Queens– 74-72 (L)
  • Lees-McRae- 86-68 (W)

• The Cobra women had another productive week going 1-1 with a narrow two-point loss to Queens and a huge win over Lees-McRae. Coker is now 3-4 in Conference Carolinas play, with two more conference games this week.

Men’s Basketball

• This week’s games:
  • Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. (H)- Pfeiffer-Sponsored by Wells Fargo
  • Saturday at 2:15 p.m. (A)- Limestone @ Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.

• Last week’s games:
  • Queens– 60-50 (L)
  • Lees-McRae- 72-68- OT (L)

• This week the Cobra men will take on a pair of Conference Carolinas foes; the Pfeiffer Falcons and the Limestone Saints. The Falcons are currently 3-4 in league play, while the Saints are just 1-6. The match-up against Limestone will be a rematch of last season conference tournament championship game; a game the Saints won 68-59.

Coker Basketball at Time Warner Cable Arena

• The Cobras will take on the Saints of Limestone College in a Conference Carolinas doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the home of the Charlotte Bobcats, Time Warner Cable Arena.
  • The Cobras and the Saints will tip-off under the lights of the NBA arena prior to the start of the Bobcats game against the Wizards. The women's game will begin at 12:15 p.m., followed by the men's game at 2:15 p.m.
  • Following the Coker games, alumni and friends are invited to attend a special reception at Cosmos Café/The Stage presented by the Coker Alumni Association and the Cobra Club at 4:30 p.m.
