Men’s Soccer
- This week’s matches:
- Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. (A) – Belmont Abbey
- Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Erskine
- Last week’s matches:
- Barton (W) – 4-2
- Shorter (W) – 4-3
- Last week the Cobras scored eight goals en route to a pair of
victories. The first was a 4-2 win over Barton and the second a 4-3
win over Shorter in their 2012 Homecoming match. This week they
will take on a pair of league opponents
Women’s Soccer
- This week’s matches:
- Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. (A) – Belmont Abbey
- Saturday at 4:30 p.m. (H) – Erskine
- Last week’s matches:
- Barton (W) – 3-2 (OT)
- USC-Aiken (T) – 0-0 (2OT)
- The women went undefeated last week with a come from behind,
3-2 win over Barton in overtime and a 0-0 draw against USC-Aiken in
their Homecoming match. This week the Cobras will take to the field
against Belmont Abbey and Erskine in a pair of Conference Carolinas
matches.
Women’s Volleyball
- This week’s matches:
- Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. (H) – Erskine- Dig Pink Night
- Friday at 6:30 p.m. (A) – Queens
- Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (A) - Pfeiffer
- Last week’s matches:
- Limestone (W) – 3-0
- Lees-McRae (L) – 3-1
- Last week the women’s volleyball team split their league
matches, defeating Limestone 3-0. This week the Cobras will host
their “Dig Pink” match to support breast cancer
awareness on Tuesday against Erskine. There will be several items
up for auction to raise money for the Side-Out Foundation,
including autographed pink volleyballs and pink Coker volleyball
jerseys.
Men’s & Women’s Cross
Country
- This week’s meet:
- Royals Challenge at Charlotte, N.C. – Oct. 12
- Last week’s meet:
- Pre-Conference Meet – women 5 of 6, men 3 of 5
- Stephanie Shaw finished 18th overall, and set a new
Coker school record in the 4k race by finishing with a time of
17:50.88 at the Pre-Conference Meet last week. This week the Cobras
return to Charlotte to run in the Royals Challenge hosted Queens
University of Charlotte.
Men’s Golf
- Last week’s tournament:
- Cougar Invitational- 5 of 16
- The Coker men continued their exceptional play this fall with
another top 5 finish, this time at the Cougar Invitational.
Freshman Nicklaus Kennedy came in third overall, shooting 74-69-71
during the three-round event.
