The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them.     • Saturday at 8:00 a.m. (A) – Midwest Classic @ University of Indianapolis
  • Last week’s matches:
    • Newberry Duals
      • Alderson-Broaddus (W) – 20-19
      • Darton (W) – 27-13
      • Lake Erie (L) – 30-18
  • The Cobras went 2-1 at the Newberry Duals last week, defeating Alderson-Broaddus and Darton to improve to 4-1 in dual matches this season. This week the Coker grapplers will hit the road to the University of Indianapolis to complete in the Midwest Classic on Saturday.

Women’s Basketball

  • This week’s games:
    • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (A) – Mars Hill   
  • Last week’s games:
    • Lincoln Memorial (W) – 69-60
  • The Coker women’s picked up a 69-60 SAC victory last week to move to 3-1 in conference play and 5-2 overall. This week they will travel to Mars Hill for a conference match-up on Saturday.

Men’s Basketball

  • This week’s games:
    • Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – College of Charleston (Exhibition)
    • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (A) – Mars Hill
  • Last week’s games:
    • Benedict (W) – 91-87
    • Lincoln Memorial (L) – 78-67
  • After going 1-1 last week with a non-conference win over Benedict, the Cobras will hit the road for a two game road swing this week. The first stop will be Charleston, S.C. for an exhibition game against Division I College of Charleston on Thursday night. Then they will travel to Mars Hill, N.C. to take on Mars Hill  University in a SAC game on Saturday.
