Cobra Club BINGO Night – Thursday, April 10

Calling all BINGO enthusiasts! The Coker College Cobra Club will be hosting a BINGO Night on Thursday, April 10, 2014. BINGO Night will be a fundraiser for the Cobra Club with all proceeds benefiting Coker’s athletic teams.

Admission is free and cards start at $1 with tons of prizes for everyone. BINGO Night will be held in Coker’s Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Men’s Volleyball

  • This week’s matches:
    • Friday at 7:00 p.m. (A) – Warner
    • Saturday at 12:00 p.m. (A) – Warner
  • Last week’s matches:
    • Barton – 3-0 (W)
    • Erskine – 3-2 (L)
  • The men’s volleyball team closed out Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium with a dominant 3-0 win over Barton last week. This week the Cobras will play their final matches of the season at Warner University on Friday and Saturday.

  • This week Coker will play host to St. Andrews on Tuesday and then travel o Lincoln Memorial for a SAC three-game series on Friday and Saturday.

Men’s & Women’s Tennis

    • Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (H) – Shaw
    • Sunday at 1:00 p.m. (A) – UNC Pembroke
  • Last week’s matches:
    • Mars Hill – 9-0 (L) – women, 8-1 (W) – men
  • The No. 33 Coker men improved to 6-1 in the SAC with an 8-1 victory over Mars Hill last week. This week the Cobras will travel to Newberry on Tuesday and then play host to Shaw on Saturday. Finally, the women will travel to UNC Pembroke on Sunday.

  • Last week’s tournaments:

    • (W) Pinehurst Challenge – 7 of 18
  • The Coker women picked up their second consecutive top 10 finish last week at the Pinehurst Challenge. This week the men will look to earn their third straight top 10 finish at the UNC Pembroke Intercollegiate.

    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (H) – Brevard (DH)

    • Queens – 7-4 (W), 11-9 (L)
    • Mars Hill – 14-0 (L), 15-14 (W) – 8 inn.
  • The softball team split both of its SAC double-headers last week against Queens and Mars Hill. This week the Cobras will travel to Lenoir-Rhyne on Tuesday. They will then host Brevard on Saturday.

Men’s Lacrosse

    • Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – Catawba
  • Last week’s games:
    • Brevard – 18-4 (W)
  • The Coker men’s lacrosse team picked up an impressive win over Brevard last week. This week they will host Catawba in their final regular season game of the season on Saturday.

Women’s Lacrosse

  • This week’s games:
    • Thursday at 4:00 p.m. (H) – Furman
    • Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (H) – Catawba
  • Last week’s games:
    • Rollins – 18-1 (L)
  • This week the women host their final two home games of the season. They will take on Furman on Thursday and then they will host Catawba on Saturday.
