Cobra Golf Places Fourth at Kiawah Invitational
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Coker men’s golf team finished in fourth place at the Seventh Annual Kiawah Island Invitational hosted by USC-Aiken. The Cobras finished with a two round total of 595 (+19) behind tournament champion Barton College (582, +6), USC-Beaufort (584, +8) and Georgia College and State University (585, +9) at the 6,875-yard, par 72 Cougar Point Golf Course. Coker Men’s Golf Fifth After Day One of Kiawah Invitational
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – The Coker men’s golf team is six strokes off the lead after day one of the Kiawah Island Invitational hosted by USC-Aiken. Leading the pack is nationally ranked #6 Georgia College and State University at four over par (292), followed by Barton College and USC-Beaufort at five over (293). Flagler College is in fourth place at seven over (295) and then Coker is tied for fifth at +10 (298) with the University of Indianapolis. Read the full story.

Coker’s Murphy Named PING All-Region and GCAA All-Freshman
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College freshman golfer, Jake Murphy is going to have to make room in his trophy case if his first year as a Cobra is any indication of his future. The Hamilton, N.J. native added two more accolades to his growing list over the summer as he was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division II All-Freshman Team and he was selected as a PING All-Region golfer.
