ASU’s lefty Kevin Kelley pitched a total of seven innnings giving up four hits and only one run. This was Kelley’s first win of the season.
Jayson Clarke got the loss for the Cobras, making him 1-3 on the season.
Robbie Fite led the Jags offensively hitting 4-for-5 with a double, three RBIs and three runs scored. Both Alex Sickman and John Partride went 3-for-4, and Shannon Wilkerson was 3-for-6 with a double and six RBIs.
For the Cobras, Julio Gomez and Ben Davidson each hit 2-for-4, making up four of the seven hits.
