Belmont Abbey defeated Coker 1-0 and 6-2 on Saturday, sweeping the Conference Carolinas series 3-0.

BELMONT, N.C. – The Coker baseball team suffered a pair of losses to Belmont Abbey on Saturday, 1-0 and 6-2.
Dan Meyer (Seaford, N.Y.) (1-2) suffered the loss in game one. He allowed just one run on eight hits with four strikeouts in six innings of work.
Sean Tracy (Farmingville, N.Y.) (0-2) took the loss in game two. Tracy gave up three runs on four hits in two innings on the mound.
Keith Wolf (O'Fallon, Ill.), Rob Quattrock (Holtsville, N.Y.) and Fico Kondla (Miami, Fla.) each had a pair of hits on the day with Kondla driving in a run. T.J. Sinnott (Denver, Pa.) also drove in a run for the Cobras.
The Cobras will be back on the diamond at home on Tuesday against Claflin University at 2 p.m.
