2012-13 Individual Stats

2012-13: Griffin played in all 54 games this season for the Cobras, hitting .286 along the way.  Griffin totaled 57 hits with 35 RBIs and 25 runs scored.  The senior outfielder had 15 multi-hit games during the season, including a streak of three post season games where he had three hits, seven RBIs, and four runs scored.  Griffin was also honored as a member of the NCAA Southeast Region All-Tournament team.

2011-12 Individual Stats

2011-12: Brinley returned to the field after missing a year and a half due to a hip injury and was an offensive spark for the Cobras. He led the team in batting average and home runs. He hit .455 in 19 games with four home runs, 20 RBIs, three doubles and 15 runs scored. He also led the team in slugging with an outstanding .682 slugging percentage. He hit safely in 16 of the 19 games he played in, with nine multi-hit games, including a season best 4-for-5 performance against Mars Hill (4/4). He also was 3-for-5 with two home runs against Barton (4/20).

2010-11: Griffin was redshirted due to an injury.

2009-10: Played and started in 41 games, hitting a robust .393 (64-for-163) with five home runs and 33 runs batted in.  Led the team in runs scored with 49 and also in hits with 64.

2008-09: Played and started in 42 games.  Hit .335 (55-for-164), with one home run, and 22 runs batted in.  He also scored 55 runs, while stealing twelve bases.  Led the team in doubles with nine.

High School: A standout player at Merritt Island, Griffin played AAU ball for the Freshwater Storm and Team DeMarini.

Personal: Son of Donna and Pete Griffin...he has two sisters Jessica and Chelsea...Jessica is a freshman softball player at Stetson University.
