2012-13: Kondla had a hall-of-fame year for the Cobras during the 2013 season. The junior first baseman was named to the All-Conference first team, Conference Carolinas All-Tournament team, NCAA Southeast Regional All-Tournament team, and the NCBWA All-Region team. Not to mention he was named Conference Carolinas Player of the week three times during the regular season. Kondla played in all 54 games for the Cobras, racking up a team high batting average of .418 with 76 hits, 50 RBIs, 42 runs scored, and three home runs. He was also outstanding on defense with a fielding percentage of .990 that included 469 put outs and 20 assists. Kondla was also a finalist for the Josh Willingham Award, given to the NCAA DII Baseball MVP.
2011-12: Kondla played in 45 games for the Cobras during the 2012 season. He hit .294 with six doubles and two triples. He was third on the team in RBI (26), third in stolen bases (8) and was third on the team in runs scored (29). He had 14 muli-hit games, including a season best 3-for-6 game with a double, a triple and two RBIs against Erskine (4/13).
2010-11: Kondla played and started in 42 of 43 games for Coker during the 2011 season. Fico posted a .241 (32-for-133) average and drove in 18 runs. He also stole five bases.
High School: Kondla was a star player at Dr. Michael M. Krop High School.
Personal: Son of Emelina and Richard Kondla...he has two brothers Charlie and Ricky.
