Pittsburgh, Pa.- The Coker men’s basketball team was unable to pick up a win as they lost to division I University of Pittsburgh 83-40 on Sunday afternoon in an exhibition game. The Cobras did not have a great first half, scoring just six points, but a 34 point second half, made the game a bit more respectable.

Ricardo Smith (Darlington, S.C.) led the Cobras with nine points, while Vatrick Thompson (Columbia, S.C.) had eight points and Delonte Doles (Roswell, Ga.) had seven points.

Coker opens their 2009 season on Monday, Nov. 16, when they host the Morris College Hornets at 7:00 p.m. at the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium.
