HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker’s Tom Wright (Sydney, Australia) scored a game high 22 points, while Jonathon Gardener (Florence, S.C. ) scored a career high 17 points in the Cobras 72-65 loss to UNC-Pembroke on Saturday night in their second game of the Zaxby’s Tip-off Clazzic.

The Braves dominated the Cobras in the paint scoring 28 points, with 14 of those coming off second chance attempts, while the Coker held the advantage on points off turnovers, 25-17.

Along with Wright and Gardner’s double figures, Delonte Doles (Roswell, Ga.) had 10 points for the Cobras, while Wright pulled down five rebounds.

Pembroke was led by Chris Hargrove with 18 points and six rebounds, with K.J. Cooper and Shahmel Brackett each had 14 points.

The Cobras return to floor on November 26-27 for the Wingate University Thanksgiving Tournament.
