Kiawah Island, SC- After Day one of the Kiawah Island Invitational the Coker College golf team is tied for second place with fellow CVAC member Pfeiffer University at 297.

 

Senior Vincent Dumouchel/Candiac, Quebec finished the day tied for fifth place with an even par 72, followed by junior Johary Raveloarison/Antananarivo, Madagascar, who is tied for ninth with after shooting a 73. Rounding out the field for the Cobras are Blaine Rodgers/ Simpsonville, SC with a 75, Keith Wallace/Manning, SC with a 77 and Gary Morgan/ Dublin, Ireland with a 79.

 

USC Aiken is the overall leader with a score of 292, and is led by Dane Burkhart who fired a six under par 66. Today’s 18 holes will conclude the tournament and determine both the individual and team champions.
