Savannah, GA- In the final round of the AASU/Southbridge Pirate Invitational, the Coker Cobras dropped a spot and finished in seventh place out of 12 teams, with a two day total of 608. Taking home the victory was Georgia College and State University, followed by USC-Upstate and Armstrong Atlantic.

 

Coker was led by a pair of freshmen, Chris Marsh and Jimmy Gillam, each firing two day totals of 147, placing them in a tie for 13th place. Blaine Rogers was next for the Cobras with a two round total of 157, followed by Benoit Gordon with a 158, and finally Jay Goldenberg with two round total of 163.

 

The Coker Golf Team returns to the links on March 5, as they travel to Florida Tech for a spring break trip.
