ST. AUGUSTINE, FLA. – The Coker men's golf team placed third in the Jay Jennison Memorial on Tuesday (Sept. 25).  The Cobras finished the two-day, three round tournament with a combined score of 905.

At the end of the first day, Coker found themselves 21 strokes off the first place position and in sixth place overall (of 16).  The Cobras however, were not satisfied with their rank on the leaderboard, as they prepared to tee-off for the third and final round.

The Cobras had a total of 36 birdies during the event, averaging nearly 12 birdies a round.

Coker will be looking for another top three finish on October 1, at the Cougar Invitational.  The tournament will be held at the Country Club of Columbus and will be hosted by Columbus State University.
