Cobras suit up for UNC Pembroke Intercollegiate

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team heads to Wallace, N.C. to participate in the UNC Pembroke Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 31 and April 1).

The starting five for the Navy and Yellow is led by senior Josh Clay and junior Christopher Fuga. Clay has a 73.9 scoring average on the season, which is good enough for 12th in the South Atlantic Conference. Fuga is right behind him with a 74.5 scoring average which comes in as the 17th best scoring average in the SAC. Freshman Will Bundy and junior Zane Price come in next with scoring averages of 76.5 and 76.6, while sophomore Blake Baysden rounds out the traveling five with a scoring average of 77.

The Cobras will play the River Course at River Landing in Wallace, N.C.  Day one of the 54-hole event will begin Monday morning (April 31).
