Coker Drops Conference Game to Mount Olive 15-5

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Five different Cobras scored goals in Coker's 15-5 loss to Mount Olive in Conference Carolinas men's lacrosse action on Wednesday (Mar. 20) night.

Mike Martiello and Timothy Smith scored Coker's first two goals in the first quarter and Steve Marciano scored the third goal of the game in the second quarter. Steven Zolezzi and Ryan Maurer scored the final goals of the game for the Cobras in the third quarter.

Josh Masciarelli made eight saves in the net for the Cobras.

The Cobra offense blistered the Trojan goaltenders with 26 shots and they scooped up 17 ground balls. 

Coker will hit the road for their next game on Saturday (Mar. 23) at Pfeiffer University. Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
