Coker to Take on North Greenville

HARTSVILLE, S.C.  – The Coker men's soccer team will play host to the Crusaders of North Greenville in the nightcap of a Conference Carolinas soccer double-header on Wednesday night (Oct. 17). The match will be video streamed live online and can be viewed for free at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras have won eight of their last nine, including their last four straight matches. In their most recent match, Matt Taylor gave the men a 1-0 win with a golden goal in overtime against Erskine College. Goalkeeper James Sweeney also earned his second consecutive clean sheet in the victory. Coker is now 5-1 in league play and is in second place in the conference standings.

North Greenville comes into the match in third place in the conference standings with a record of 5-3. They have won their last three in a row, with their most recent victory coming against Queens (1-0).

Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Coker Soccer Field.
