Other College: Gbelay played volleyball at Graceland University during the 2011-12 season.

High School: Gbelay attended Las Vegas High School and was a letter winner in basketball, football and volleyball. He was a memeber of back-to-back Sunrise division championship teams and a state championship team in volleyball. A two-time all-conference selection in volleyball, he was also a member of three division championship football teams at LVHS.
