High School: A standout player at Catholic Central, Lyon was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012. He was also a member of the Lethbridge Volleyball Club that was the Silver Medalist at Provincials.

Personal: Son of Leslie and James Lyon...he has four siblings, Kyle, Courtney, Cassidy and Kaylee.
