BRISTOL, TENN. – The Coker men's volleyball team closed out its 2015 season with a 3-1 loss to the King University Tornado on Saturday (Apr. 11) afternoon.
The Cobras would fall behind 25-17 after the first set, but would battle back to a 1-all tie with a 25-20 win in set two. The Tornado would take a 2-1 lead following a 25-21 win in the third set. King would use the momentum from set three to capture a back and forth fourth set with a score of 28-26.
Artur Cabral led the way for Coker with 18 kills, while Luke Hansen and Leshon Alexander added 12 kills apiece. Pacing the offense was Aleksa Bijelic with 46 assists and leading the way defensive was Andrew Washam with eight digs.
Coker finishes the season with a single-season record nine wins.
