HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker men's volleyball team helped out in the community by teaching young boys and girls the skills of the sport.

The team visited Hartsville Recreation for an hour each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from late September to the end of their preseason and taught elementary and middle school-aged kids the fundamentals and skills of playing volleyball.

"We enjoyed the opportunity to work with a great group of kids," said Head Coach Eric Snyder. "We had as much fun as they did and hopefully we found some new fans for Coker men's volleyball."

The Cobras begin their season on Tuesday Jan. 17 when they host the St. Andrews Knights at the DeLoach Center. First serve is slated for 7:00 p.m.
