GREEENEVILLE, TENN. – The Coker College women’s golf team opened their inaugural year of play at the 2010 Tusculum Fall Classic on Monday. The Cobras currently sit in ninth place after the opening round, with a score of 341 (+53) on the par 72, 5,805 yard course. UNC-Pembroke and Lincoln Memorial University lead the field at +14 (302), followed by Conference Carolinas foe Belmont Abbey at +18 (306).

Individually for the Cobras, Alexa Clark (Devon, Pa.) leads the way with a 10 over 82, followed by Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.) with a 13 over 85. Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) and Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) each fired 15 over 87, while Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) shot a 96 to round out the Cobra golfers.

Coker will wrap up play at the Tusculum Fall Classic on Tuesday.
