MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Cobra women’s golf team completed their first round of play at the Lenoir-Rhyne Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate on Monday with a team score of 366 (+78), leaving them in a 15th place heading into the second round of play on Tuesday. Leading the field on the par 72, 5,988 yard course is Tarleton State followed by UNC-Pembroke and Lincoln Memorial.

Individually for the Coker women, Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) leads the way in 16th place with a first round 81, while Alexa Clark (Devon, Pa.) shot a 92 and Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) finished with a 96. Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.) fired a 97 and Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) finished with an even 100.

The Cobras head back the links on Tuesday to complete second and final round of the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
