VASS, N.C. – The Cobra women’s golf team earned their highest finish of the season on Tuesday as they placed third at the St. Andrews Spring Invitational. Coker finished behind fellow Conference Carolinas schools Erskine College and Limestone College who finished first and second respectively.

Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) led the Cobras with a seventh place finish. She shot 89 in the second round. Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.) came in tied for ninth after shooting 91 in round two, while Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) shot a 92 in round two and came in 12th. Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) rounded out the field for the Cobras finishing 14th after shooting a 95 in the second round.

The Coker women will follow in their male counterparts footsteps for their next tournament as they head to the women’s Armstrong Atlantic Pirate Invitational on March 6-7 in Savannah, Georgia.
