Taylor Demby is Conference Golfer of the Month

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College golfer Taylor Demby has been named the Conference Carolinas women's golfer of the month for April, the league office announced today.

Demby, a freshman, led the Cobras to a third-place finish at the Mount Olive Invitational on April 9. She shot a team-low 168 over the two-day tournament and finished tied for ninth individually. For the season, Demby is third on the team in per-round average at 85.1. She has one top-five finish and two top-10 finishes.

Originally from Chesterfield, S.C., Taylor is the daughter of Gregg and Angela Demby.

The Coker women's golf team heads to the conference tournament this weekend at The Challenge Golf Club in Graham, N.C. First-round play begins Saturday.
