ROCK HILL, S.C.- Coker College women's lacrosse attacker Faith Kent earned South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Offensive Player of the Week for April 9-15, as announced by the conference office on Monday, April 16. This is Kent's second honor of the season.
Kent, a junior from Winter Springs, Fla., had a remarkable week as she led the Cobras to a 2-0 SAC record for the week. For the week, she scored 14 goals with six assists for 20 points, while adding seven ground balls, controlled 18 draws, and caused four turnovers. She netted five goals with an assist in the Cobras' 16-15 win over Wingate, and she scored nine goals and assisted on five others in Coker's 23-22 overtime win at Mars Hill. The 14 point performance set a Coker single-game points record and the nine goals tied the goals in a game record with herself.
