Coker Falls 1-0 to Tusculum

GREENEVILLE, TENN.  – The Coker women's soccer team dropped a close SAC competition to Tusculum College on Sunday (Oct. 27) by a score of 1-0.

The lone goal of the game came in the 54th minute of the second half off a loose ball following a Tusculum corner kick.  Coker would attempt to tie the game with seven second half shots, but was unable to connect. 

Lizz Morris headed the defense with seven saves on the day.  Morris continues to be the nation leader with 146 on the year. 

Coker will continue their journey on the road, as they travel outside of conference to face Belmont Abbey on Wednesday (Oct. 30).  The game is set for a 3:00 p.m. start time.
