HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker women's tennis team fell to Barton College, 6-3, on Monday (March 4) in a Conference Carolinas match-up. Coker is now 4-4 overall and 2-1 in conference matches.
Down 3-0 after doubles, Coker would bounced back with three victories in singles play. Danielle Chipe picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory at the No. 1 spot. At the No. 3 position Jessi Campos won, 7-5, 6-0 and Casey Altman was victorious at the No. 6 spot, 6-0, 6-1.
Up next for Coker is an away match at Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday (March 9). That match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
