HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's tennis team suffered a tough 8-1 loss to Mount Olive on Thursday (Apr. 11) in Conference Carolinas action.
Freshman Daniela Chipe earned the lone win of the day for the Cobras with a 6-2, 7-5 victory at No. 1 singles. The win improves Chipe's overall singles record to 11-8 on the year, while improving her record to 8-3 in league play.
Coker will return to the courts for its final regular season match of the season on Saturday at home against Wingate University. The match will begin at 11 a.m. at the Coker tennis courts.
