ANDERSON, S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Anderson University on Saturday (Sept. 21) in a South Atlantic Conference competition.
In the seventh minute, Anderson's Tera Dolan connected on a header to give the Trojans an early 1-0 lead. The goal would be the loan score of the first half to give Anderson the advantage at the break.
Anderson then went on to score two more goals in the second half to preserve the win.
Overall the Cobras took 15 shots, putting nine of them on frame. Midfielder Bailey Van Order led the offense with five total shots overall and three shots on goal.
Coker will continue their road trip next week at Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday (Sept. 25) in a SAC competition. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.
