HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College’s 2011 Homecoming is sure to be a weekend full of fun, excitement and lots of athletic activities. With so much going on here is a schedule of activities to keep up with all the excitement happening over the next two days.

• FRIDAY, SEPT. 30
  • 1:00 p.m. - 1st Annual Cobra Club Golf Outing at Homecoming
    • A captain’s choice 18-hole golf outing at the Hartsville Country Club sponsored by the Cobra Club.

• SATURDAY, OCT. 1
  • The new and improved CokerCobras.com will launch! Be sure to see what new and exciting features the Official Website of the Coker College Cobras has to offer.
    
    
    
  • 10:00 a.m. – Coker Basketball Alumni Game
    • All Coker basketball alumni (men and women) are invited back to the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium for a friendly game of hoops with the current Coker Cobras.
      
      
  • 10:30 a.m. – Coker Baseball Alumni Game
    • All Coker baseball alumni are invited to return to Tom J. New Field for this annual tradition against the current baseball team. Prior to the start of the game the team will honor their 2011 Benji Blanton Memorial Scholarship recipient.
      
      
  • 11:00 a.m. – Coker Softball Alumni Game
    • All Coker softball alumni are invited to join Coach David Hanna and the current Cobras in their first ever alumni game. Special guests in attendance will be the 2011 Coker Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees, the 1998 Coker Softball Team.
      
      
  • 11:30 a.m. – Coker Lacrosse Intersquad Scrimmage
    • Cobra fans are invited to head out to the Byerly Park football fields to see the newest Cobras, the lacrosse team in action. The Coker lacrosse team will play their first public scrimmage, giving everyone a sample of Coker’s newest sport.
      
      
  • 1:00 p.m. – Volleyball vs. Limestone
    • The Coker volleyball team will take on Limestone College in a Conference Carolinas match starting at 1:00 p.m. in the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium. The Cobras are currently 3-2 in conference play.
      
      
    • 2:00 p.m. – Women’s Soccer vs. Pfeiffer
      • The Coker women’s soccer team will host Pfeiffer University in their homecoming match on the soccer field. During halftime of the match the 1998 Coker Softball team will be inducted in the Coker Athletics Hall of Fame.
        
        
    • 4:00 p.m. – Men’s Soccer vs. Pfeiffer
      • The Cobra men will also host Pfeiffer in their homecoming match. Currently, the Coker men are riding a six match winning streak and are 4-0 in Conference Carolinas play. During halftime of the match Coker will announce the 2011 Homecoming Court.
        
        
    • 7:00 p.m. – Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
      • The Coker Athletic Department will hold the formal ceremony for the 2011 Coker Athletics Hall of Fame Inductions in the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center’s Watson Theater starting at 7:00 p.m.
