Herbert Joins Coker Women’s Volleyball

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women’s volleyball has expanded its roster with the addition of Amy Herbert (York, S.C.), head coach Todd Caughlin announced today.

A 5-foot-11-inch middle and right-side hitter, Herbert played volleyball at York Comprehensive High School. During her career, she earned an all-region selection and was voted the most improved player. Herbert is a member of the Rock Hill Volleyball Club, which won the 18-and-under regional championship this past season.

“Amy's ability to swing and get off of the floor will put her in a position to help strengthen our depth in both spots,” said Caughlin. “Her versatility is a big asset, and we are excited to about her joining our program.”

Amy is the daughter of Ann and Daryl Herbert.
