Coker Athletics Set for Big Weekend of Events

Attention all Cobra Fans!

The Coker Cobras are finishing out the final weekend of October with a bang! Come out and support your Cobras in several events this weekend.

The fun starts at 7 p.m. Friday night as the Coker volleyball team returns home for a Conference Carolinas match against league leading Lees-McRae College.

Then on Saturday the volleyball team is back on the floor again at 2 p.m. for another conference match against Belmont Abbey College.

Following the volleyball match head outside to see the Coker soccer teams take on St. Andrews University in their final regular season matches of the season. The women kick-off at 4:30 p.m. and the men start at 7 p.m. It will be “Pause for Paws Night” at the soccer matches, as the student organization, Pause for Paws, will be collecting supplies and monetary donations to benefit the Darlington County Humane Society.

Also during halftime of the men’s game the Coker Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be hosting a Halloween Costume Contest. Come dressed in your best Halloween costume for your chance to win some great prizes!

With a win or a tie the Cobra men’s soccer team will capture their first ever Conference Carolinas Regular Season Championship, so they need everyone’s support during this historic evening.

As always, if you can’t make to Hartsville to watch the events live in person, you can always watch them Live online with live stats and live video. Visit www.cokercobras.com for more details.
