Game two saw Coker’s bats finally find some life, as they scored five runs on six hits and a Chowan error. Unfortunately, for the Cobras, Chowan’s bats were hotter than Coker’s, as the Hawks scored seven runs on 11 hits and three Coker errors.
Coker pitcher Brad Boob (0-1) took the loss, allowing seven runs on ten hits in four and two-thirds innings of work.
At the plate, Ben Davidson was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, while Gomez and Eric Losten were each 1-for-2 with an RBI, with Losten also scoring a run. Seth Weinberg and Trey Lynch were each 1-for-3, with Weinberg recording an RBI.
