Coker Baseball Moves up in Regional Poll

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College baseball team moved up one spot to No. 9 in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll. The Cobras are tied with Limestone College and Newberry College for the ninth slot.

Coker is 11-6 overall and 4-2 in Conference Carolinas play. The team has been paced by senior outfielder Brinley Griffin, who has a .328 average with 14 RBIs this season. Junior infielder Fico Kondla (.396, 12 RBIs, 13 runs) has also played a major part thus far.

Coker's season continues Wednesday with a non-conference road game at Claflin University.
