HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Cobra men's tennis team picked up a pair of singles match victories and a double match win, in their 6-3 loss to North Georgia on Wednesday afternoon.
Guillermo Aylon (Spain) was instrumental in two of Coker's three wins. He earned a 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 4 singles and then along with partner James Corfield (New Zealand) they picked up a 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Manel Estruga (Spain) earned the Cobras third victory of the match with a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles.
The loss drops the Cobras to an even 1-1 in their young season.
Coker will be back in action on Friday at Winston-Salem State for their third match in four days. Start time for the match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
