LAURINBURG, N.C. – Megan Thomas (Cresskill, N.J.) knocked down a jump shot in the closing seconds to give the Cobras a 69-68 win over the St. Andrews Knights on Thursday night in Conference Carolinas women’s basketball.

Lucy Fish (Nottingham, England) was the game’s leading scorer with 17 points, while Jasmine Alston (Sumter, S.C.) had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Also scoring in double figures was Ashley Thompson (Columbia, S.C.) with 11 points. Thomas scored eight points including the game-winner, her second such basket this season.
