Bio
Tommy Baker enters his fourth season as the leader of the Cobra women’s golf program.
In just three short years, Baker has transformed the Coker women's golf program into a regional competitor. During the 2012-13 season the Cobras had three top-5 finishes and they completed eight of their nine events in the top-15. Taylor Demby was an all-conference selection and she was also named the conference women's golfer of the month for April.
Baker joined the Coker golf program in January of 2008 after spending a year and a half at UNC-Pembroke as the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s teams.
Baker is a native of Fayetteville, N.C., and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he received a B.S. with honors in Exercise in Sports Science. He was a four-time letterman for the Braves and was a four-time Peach Belt Conference Honor Roll selection.
Coach Baker earned his Masters of Arts in Sports Administration from UNC Pembroke.
