HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker College took on Limestone College in a Conference Carolinas match-up Saturday afternoon.  Limestone came away with a clean sheet taking the match 2-0.

The Cobras were coming off of a 5-3 victory over Barton College Monday, but were stifled Saturday against Limestone.  The Cobra offense could not get their attack going against the Saints.  Coker took just three shots.  Senior Carrie Hudnell (Goose Creek, S.C.) made nine saves in the loss.

Limestone was led by junior Vanessa Jarrett (Ottawa, Ontario) (50:07, A: Ash. Alderin-Fleagle) who put the first goal of the match past keeper Hudnell.  Late in the second half, junior Ashley Alderin-Fleagle (Kernersville, N.C.) (85:50, PK) made the score 2-0 with a penalty kick.  Saints’ junior keeper Kristen Alderin-Fleagle (Kernersville, N.C.) made three saves in the match.

Coker will play Flagler College October 13, at 4 p.m. at the Coker College Soccer Field in their next match.
