Sumter, SC- The Lady Cobras played Brevard College today in Sumter, SC. The Cobras started well in the doubles matches with Andrea Santos and Ashley Pace bringing in the first victory 8-3 over Dulcal and Douglas. Shortly after Cassidy Spencer and Lindsay Crighton also won comfortably 8-4. The Cobras lost the other doubles match but were still up 2-1 after the doubles.


The singles matches were next on court with Rachel Lemar playing some brilliant tennis. Lemar soon took control of the match and won the first set 6-1. In the second set lemar again dominated her opponent and took that set 6-1. Cassidy Spencer and Jill Smith also had comfortable victories both of them winning their singles matches 6-0, 6-2. Lindsay Crighton also added a singles win for the Cobras. The match finished with a 6-3 win for the lady Cobras.


This moves the Lady Cobras to 4-4 for the season. Tomorrow the Lady Cobras play at home against Mount Olive College in a conference match at 1pm.
