ANDERSON, S.C. -- Using a balanced attack, the Anderson volleyball team claimed its' second consecutive win by blanking conference opponent Coker, 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-10) Friday night at the Abney Athletic Center.

Anderson (8-6, 3-2 Conference Carolinas) jumped out to an early lead in the first set behind senior Jen Moffitt’s strong serving to open the contest, but Coker (1-14, 0-6 Conference Carolinas) chipped away and gained a narrow two-point advantage midway through the set.

The Trojans answered to retake the lead at 18-17, forcing Coker head coach John Stenman to call for a timeout, but AU closed out the frame with a 7-4 run.

The Lady Cobras grabbed an early edge in the second set, but AU rallied and broke away late to claim the 25-23 win.

AU raced out to a 13-4 lead in the third and final set and never looked back en route to the 25-10 win.
