HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2025!
Nikki Maxson Haddock, a standout outfielder for the Cobra softball team from 1993-1996, she is ranked in the top 10 in several career hitting categories including being No. 5 in batting average (.408), No. 4 in hits (232), No. 6 in doubles (40), and No. 5 in RBIs (162). An All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American player, Maxson Haddock helped lead the Cobras to four consecutive conference regular season titles, an NCAA Region title and trip to the 1995 NCAA National Tournament. She was named to the All-Time Coker softball team. In 1995, the year her team went to the National Tournament, she was ranked in the top 30 in the nation in batting average (.427), finished second in the conference in home runs (5) and RBI (49), had a career high six RBI vs Tusculum in the ’95 NAIA Mid-South Regional, and made a key defensive play at the regional title game vs Lambuth, fielding a ball off the top Center Field fence and throwing the runner out at home. Nikki earned a Psychology degree from Coker in 1996, and later continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University in their Physical Therapy program. She moved to the Myrtle Beach area from Sarasota, FL in 2000 and started her current career, insurance, in 2002. This year Nikki celebrates her 21st year with McGriff Insurance Services, which was recently acquired by Marsh McLennan, a global leader in risk management. For the past 15 years of her tenure with McGriff she has specialized in providing commercial insurance products to her clients in the niche Coastal Condominium/Community Association market space. In 2022 she was named as Senior Vice President, and is currently one of the premier condominium agents servicing coastal South Carolina. Nikki currently lives in Murrells Inlet, SC with her fiancé Paul. She has two children, Hunter - a recent Engineering graduate from USC; and Hailey- a recent Horticulture graduate from Clemson.
