Cobra Spotlight- Chase Spivey, Baseball
The "Cobra Spotlight" is a weekly highlight of a student-athlete at Coker College. Each week we take a different athlete from a different sport and display some facets to get more familiar with them. This week we take a look at Chase Spivey, Sammy Song and T.J. Giczkowski, members of the baseball team.

Why did you choose Coker? Coker gave me the opportunity to continue playing baseball at the collegiate level.
What is your best memory at Coker (athletic related)? Definitely going to the Division II College World Series last year.
What is your best memory at Coker (non-athletic related)? Of all things, probably making a half-court shot at halftime of the men’s basketball game and getting nothing for it. Go Cobras!
Which athletic team would you play on at Coker other than your own? Maybe the men’s basketball team because of the half-court shot, but most likely the track team because of Schmotzer’s conditioning regimen.
