Fort Myers, FL- The Coker Cobras dropped their third game at the Gene Cusic Classic in Fort Myers, FL on Monday, losing to Saginaw Valley State University 2-1. The Cobras are now 0-3 in the classic, and are 5-16 on the season.

Matt Conyers (1-2) took the loss going the whole game, allowing two runs on seven hits with six strike outs.

Leading the Coker offense was Ryan Schaeffer who was 2-for-4, while Ben Davidson was 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Driving in Coker’s lone run was Eric Losten, who was 1-for-2 on the day with an RBI.

Coker continues their spring break trip tomorrow as they play Kentucky Wesleyan.
