HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker baseball will host UNC Pembroke on Tuesday (April 19) for a midweek non-conference matchup.
The Cobras (26-17, 11-10 SAC) picked up a 2-1 series win against Lincoln Memorial over the weekend (April 15-16) when they won Friday's game 6-3 and split the doubleheader losing game one 6-4 and winning the rubber match 4-0.
On the season, Will Winslow leads the team offensively with a .381 batting average, sixth-best in the South Atlantic Conference. Friday starter Dallas Baldwin, who has tossed complete games in each of his last three starts, owns a 2.63 earned run average, third-best in the conference.
The Braves come into the matchup with a 24-18 overall record and a 10-14 mark in Peach Belt Conference play. They are led offensively by Stibel Aleman Saba who is hitting .392 with a team-high 62 hits and team-high 46 RBIs.
First pitch is set for 3:00 p.m. at Tom J. New Field. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
