Coker Field Hockey Earns 2020 NFHCA Division II National Academic Team Award
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Coker University field hockey team was one of 33 Division II programs to earn the 2020 National Field Hockey Coaches Association’s National Academic Team Award, announced by the organization today (Monday, Mar. 29, 2021).

BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Coker University field hockey team was one of 33 Division II programs to earn the 2020 National Field Hockey Coaches Association's National Academic Team Award, announced by the organization today (Monday, Mar. 29).
The award is given to programs that post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, during the fall semester of the academic year.
Coker has earned the honor for the second year in a row.
Coker also had eight players named to the NFHCA's Division II National Academic Squad in Lieke Bruijn, Skyler Earle, Kelsey Gibbons, Kayla Hnasko, Victoria Humphreys, Britt Kabo, Chase Lennon and Kiarra Rivera, while Bruijn and Kabo were also named NFHCA Division II Scholars of Distinction.
The Cobras are back in action tomorrow (Tuesday, Mar. 30) to host Belmont Abbey in a South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Tournament quarterfinal matchup. The game is set to begin at 3:00 p.m. from the Coker Athletic Field, with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
